Every engagement produces a Ground Truth Report. These are representative findings that illustrate what the process reveals and why it matters.
Hidden Liability
A business owner discovered a significant time-sensitive debt obligation during Discovery that had never appeared in any internal report. The obligation had a fixed deadline. It was now the highest-priority item in the business. Refinancing preparation became the first deliverable of Implementation.
Revenue Misattribution
An owner believed their primary location was the core of their business. Discovery revealed a secondary operation represented the majority of total revenue. Every hiring decision, investment, and financing conversation had been calibrated to the wrong entity. The reframe changed everything downstream.
Off-Book Cost Structure
A business was paying a significant portion of its labor in cash across seasonal operations. The costs had never been formally documented or analyzed. Discovery surfaced the true labor percentage, identified potential tax classification exposure, and produced the first complete cost model the business had ever had.
Pricing Without a System
A specialty food producer had strong demand and a loyal customer base. Pricing had been set by intuition — what felt right, what customers seemed willing to pay. Discovery revealed several items were priced below true cost when labor time, ingredient costs, overhead allocation, and wholesale-to-retail margin expectations were calculated together. A full pricing model was built covering every menu item, establishing floor prices, target margins, and wholesale rates. The owner had never had a number they could defend.
System Gap / Remote Visibility
A business owner was frequently physically absent from the operation. There was no centralized visibility into financial performance — key figures were scattered across disconnected systems with no consolidated view. Every system built during Implementation was designed so the owner received daily performance reports on their phone, and where appropriate, could query their own business data directly using custom AI tools built on their specific numbers.
